2. Equipment

  • Cubicon Single Plus 3D Printer System: Manufacturer: 3D Systems, USA. Utilizes FDM/FFF technology based on the principle of melting plastic filament, used in anatomical model printing for educational purposes, diagnostic support, and surgical planning.

  • System J750 Digital Anatomy Printer:  Manufacturer: Stratasys, Israel. Utilizes PolyJet technology to print anatomical structures with over 98% accuracy in detail and biomechanical properties—such as hardness, flexibility, load-bearing capacity, and color—closely mimicking human tissue. Uses FDA-approved biocompatible materials. The products serve visual teaching on pathological imaging and experimental surgery across multiple specialties, including Orthopedics, Cardiology, Urology, and Maxillofacial Reconstruction; as well as the production of high-precision surgical guides for joint replacement and bone reconstruction surgeries.

  • PEEK Material 3D Printer System: Applied in printing implant parts with durability, rigidity, and elasticity comparable to human bone structure, offering high biocompatibility. PEEK-printed products have a wide range of applications, including the fabrication of bone grafts for non-load-bearing limb areas, cranial implants, maxillofacial grafts, and spinal implant materials.

  • Sprintray Pro95 3D Printer System: Manufacturer: SprintRay, USA. Utilizes DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, applied in printing bone and joint models, bone-cutting guides for cancer treatment, positioning systems for joint replacement surgeries, and intraosseous endoscopy with high detail and durability. The prints are heat-resistant, biocompatible, and suitable for surgical use.

  • Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K 3D Printer:  Superior to all other 3D printers on the market, displaying details as fine as 43 micrometers. Produces 3D models with nearly double the detail compared to other large-scale 3D printers. Features a 15″ Mono-LCD screen—the largest on the market. Large print size: With a Z-axis height of 40 cm, the Sonic Mega 8K includes the largest XY print area.

  • SLM 280 Metal 3D Printer System: Manufacturer: SLM Solutions, Germany. One of the most advanced metal printing systems in the world, with a print speed of 20–45 ccm/h. The system uses medical-grade titanium alloy printing materials, providing extremely high printing precision and the capability to create textured coatings on joint surfaces. This is the primary system currently used by the 3D Lab for producing artificial implant devices from alloy materials.

  • Design Support System: Manufacturer: 3D Systems. Comprises advanced computer systems equipped with real-time feedback Touch haptic devices, enabling engineers and surgeons to easily operate, conceptualize, create designs, and conduct simulation tests in a highly intuitive and dynamic virtual environment.

  • Sample Scanning and Reverse Design System: Utilizes advanced object scanners to accurately replicate product models. Supports quality inspection of printed samples to ensure perfection, assisting engineers in upgrading and improving new product designs.
