Final Research Seminar: Year 4 Nursing Students’ Research Achievements
On June 24, 2024, the Bachelor of Nursing Program proudly hosted the final research seminar for our exceptional Bachelor of Nursing Year 4 students. This seminar marks a significant academic achievement and showcases their dedication to addressing vital health issues through rigorous research. We are pleased to highlight the innovative studies presented by 03 students, Tran Ngoc Tran, Nguyen Chau Thanh, and Hoang Ngoc Anh, whose research contributes valuable insights to the field of nursing.
Student Presentations
1.Tran Ngoc Tran: “The Lived Experience of Caring for Individuals with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD): Insights from Family Members in Vietnam”
Tran Ngoc Tran’s research provides an in-depth look into the challenges and emotional toll experienced by family members caring for individuals with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in Vietnam. Through qualitative research, Tran uncovered the mental health issues and coping mechanisms within these families, emphasizing the need for supportive interventions and policies to aid nurses.
2. Nguyen Chau Thanh: “Post-Stroke Depression and its Associated Factors in Stroke Survivors”
Nguyen Chau Thanh’s study addresses the critical issue of post-stroke depression among stroke survivors. By examining a range of psychological, social, and biological factors, Nguyen identified significant predictors of depression in this population. His research highlights the importance of early detection and comprehensive mental health support to improve recovery outcomes for stroke survivors.
3. Hoang Ngoc Anh: “Sleep Quality of Vietnamese Cesarean Postpartum Women during Hospitalization and its Associated Factors”
Hoang Ngoc Anh’s research focused on the sleep quality of Vietnamese women recovering from cesarean sections during their hospital stay. By analyzing various factors such as pain management, hospital environment, and emotional well-being, Hoang identified key elements that impact sleep quality. Her findings underscore the need for tailored interventions to enhance postpartum care and recovery.
