Opening Ceremony of VinUniversity Office at Vietnam National Children’s Hospital

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, VinUniversity University held the opening ceremony of the VinUniversity Office at Vietnam National Children’s Hospital. The office will provide professional and convenient support for the faculty and students of VinUni’s GME and MD programs, facilitating their work, study, and research activities at this location.

The ceremony was solemn and cozy, with the participation of Associate Professor Tran Minh Dien, Director of the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, and Professor David Bangsberg, Interim Provost of VinUniversity and Dean of the College of Health Sciences, along with leaders, doctors, faculty, and residents.

In his speech, Professor David Bangsberg expressed joy and pride because Vietnam National Children’s Hospital is not only the leading hospital to provide treatment and healthcare for children in Vietnam but also a teaching hospital for medical students, resident doctors, and nurses, who will be the next generation of healthcare professionals for children.

Associate Professor Tran Minh Dien also expressed joy when cooperating with the College of Health Sciences at VinUniversity because the medical college aims at high-quality medical education according to international standards. Associate Professor Tran Minh Dien and Professor David Bangsberg also expressed their desire to continue developing a long-term and strong cooperative partnership to enhance the quality of medical education and care for children in Vietnam.

The ribbon cutting ceremony closed the ceremony and opened a new phase of enhancing cooperation between Vietnam National Children’s Hospital and VinUniversity. Alongside the previously opened office at Vinmec Hospital, this marks the second office of VinUni dedicated to the medical field opened in hospitals. The goal is to establish a close and enduring collaboration between VinUni and leading medical training hospitals in Vietnam, enhancing the quality of the university’s health sciences education. This direction emphasizes practical, hands-on learning to prepare a future generation of talented physicians.
