Internal Medicine Residency Program

Internal Medicine Residency Program

The Internal Medicine Residency Program at VinUniversity is a four-year training program designed to cultivate highly skilled, compassionate, and evidence-based healthcare professionals. Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-International (ACGME-I), the program emphasizes a competency-based clinical training model.

Residents engage in repeated core rotations in internal medicine, fostering deep expertise and confidence in managing complex cases. The curriculum integrates robust teaching rounds, case presentations, and multidisciplinary conferences, including Morbidity and Mortality (MM) and Clinicopathologic Case (CPC) discussions, to enhance clinical reasoning and critical thinking.

Evidence-based medicine is at the heart of the program, ensuring that residents make informed and scientifically grounded decisions for patient management and foster their intellectual growth. A comprehensive assessment and evaluation system provides regular, constructive feedback to support continuous professional growth and excellence.

VinUniversity’s Internal Medicine Residency Program fosters a collaborative and excellence-driven learning environment.

At VinUniversity, you’ll find a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment designed to enhance clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Join us and be part of a program that sets the standard for excellence in residency training.
