Curriculum Overview

The VinUni Internal Medicine Residency program is structured around six core rotations, comprising General Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Clinics. These rotations typically span 4-6 weeks each and are repeated multiple times with increasing levels of autonomy and expectations for proficiency. Residents collaborate within hierarchical teams, receiving guidance from more senior members to further their learning outcomes. Longitudinal patient care is a cornerstone of our curriculum, facilitated by year-long outpatient clinic rotations. This ensures continuity of care for outpatients, allowing residents to regularly tend to their own patients. Additionally, our curriculum grants residents four weeks of vacation per year to mitigate fatigue or burnout and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
