Orthopedic Residency Program

Welcome Message

Welcome to the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program!

Our program is committed to delivering top-tier training in all subspecialties of orthopedic surgery. Over the course of five years, our graduates develop technical competence, a deep understanding of literature, an innovative mindset, and the ability to establish their personal brand while emerging as leaders in the field.

To ensure quality and grant graduates eligibility for fellowship training in the United States, our program adheres to the ACGME-I accreditation standards. Our primary training site is the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center at Vinmec Times City Hospital, which has earned recognition as an AFC Sport Medicine Center of Excellence and an ISAKOS teaching center. Residents also have the opportunity to rotate through several excellent public hospitals, including Military 108 and the National Children’s Hospital. Additionally, they are exposed to cutting-edge technology through the Motion Analysis and 3D Technology in Medicine Lab.
Our learning environment fosters innovation and growth, offering opportunities such as surgical simulation, weekly educational activities, international observeships, and research projects. The educational program includes a didactic schedule aligned with the AAOS Resident Orthopaedic Core Knowledge program, providing residents with access to the same comprehensive educational resources available in the United States.

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the VinUni Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, we sincerely appreciate your interest in our program!
