VinUniversity College of Health Sciences Launches Strategic Partnership with Duke-NUS Medical School

April 9, 2025

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) at VinUniversity proudly announces the launch of a new partnership with Duke-NUS Medical School, a leading graduate medical school in Singapore. The collaboration marks a significant step forward in CHS’s mission to advance medical education and research through global partnerships with top institutions.

The partnership was formally launched on 4th April 2025 during a special visit to VinUniversity by Professor Scott Compton, Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education of Duke-NUS Medical School. The visit featured an engaging roundtable discussion, campus tour, and meetings with VinUni faculty and students, highlighting the strong alignment between the two institutions’ educational values and vision for health sciences training in the region.

This collaboration aims to foster mutual exchange of expertise, strengthen faculty development, and explore joint research opportunities. Importantly, it will provide future opportunities for CHS students to gain exposure to the innovative curriculum and research excellence at Duke-NUS, while also creating opportunities for Duke-NUS faculty and students to engage with Vietnam’s dynamic healthcare landscape.

“Partnering with Duke-NUS represents an exciting milestone for CHS,” said Dean David Bangsberg. “We are eager to deepen our collaboration and co-develop meaningful learning and research experiences that benefit our students, faculty, and the broader healthcare community.”

This partnership exemplifies VinUniversity’s commitment to building bridges with globally renowned institutions to nurture the next generation of healthcare leaders in Vietnam and beyond.
