VinUni student became President of Network of Health Students Vietnam (NOHS)

Pham Thuy Dung, a fourth-year student at the College of Health & Sciences, has officially become the President of the Network of Health Students Vietnam (NOHS) and led the organization’s First National General Assembly last month. Recently, Dung was the representative for NOHS at the 7th National Medical Education Conference held at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City and delivered a speech at the student session on November 10-11, 2023.

Thuy Dung is one of the first cohort of students at VinUni. Not only does Dung have an impressive list of extracurricular activities, but she also excels academically with an 80% scholarship and received the EXCEL Award for Leadership Ability from VinUni last academic year.

As the new President of NOHS, Thuy Dung couldn’t hide her excitement as she had the chance to share her opinions and visions for new activities. After joining the network as the General Secretary, at the beginning of 2023, Dung proactively proposed the establishment of VinHEALS. She wanted to form a connection between the Network and the university, helping to connect VinUni with other medical universities across the country.

“One of the key goals of NOHS in this term is to promote international exchange programs for medical and nursing students, supporting them with many opportunities to participate in research or clinical internships abroad. Additionally, we also want to create a platform to help NOHS members develop soft skills through activities or hobby-themed talk shows, helping everyone bond more and have more energy after stressful hours of classes,” Thuy Dung shared.
