VinUni and Hanoi Oncology Hospital Sign MOU to Advance Medical Education and Research

Hanoi, July 3, 2025VinUniversity and Hanoi Oncology Hospital officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at a formal ceremony held at the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity. This event marks a significant step forward in building a long-term, strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the quality of medical training and promoting collaborative research in clinical medicine.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Bui Vinh Quang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Hanoi Oncology Hospital; Prof. Michelle Hermiston, Vice Dean of Medical Research, VinUniversity; Assoc.Prof.Dr Le Cu LinhInterim Dean, College of Health Sciences & Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Quoc Hung, representing Vinmec Healthcare System, along with senior leaders and faculty members from both institutions.

Comprehensive Collaboration in Clinical Education

As outlined in the agreement, Hanoi Oncology Hospital will welcome undergraduate and postgraduate students from VinUniversity for clinical rotations. The two sides will also co-organize academic seminars, specialty workshops, and collaborate on joint teaching and advanced training programs.

This partnership offers VinUni students valuable access to real-world clinical environments, where they can gain hands-on experience and learn directly from a team of highly qualified and experienced physicians.

Promoting Joint Research and International Publications

In the area of research, both institutions are committed to co-developing scientific projects and responsibly sharing data in compliance with ethical and privacy standards. The hospital will assign physicians to supervise student research and encourage the publication of findings in reputable national and international journals and conferences.
