VinUniversity Marks Its Presence at the 9th National Medical Education Conference (VAME 2025)

On November 7–8, 2025, faculty members and students from the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity, participated in the 9th National Medical Education Conference (VAME 2025), held at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. With a strong spirit of academic excellence and innovation, VinUniversity made a notable contribution to this major national event in medical education.

VAME 2025 is a prestigious scientific forum organized by the Vietnam Association for Medical Education, gathering over 1,300 delegates, including managers, experts, lecturers, doctors, pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and students from training institutions and hospitals nationwide. The event also welcomed numerous international speakers from the United States, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan.

With the theme “Medical Education in the Digital Era – Opportunities and Challenges,” the conference explored key trends in innovating healthcare workforce training amid digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and simulation technologies.

During the conference, representatives from the College of Health Sciences at VinUniversity actively participated in scientific report sessions and discussions:

 

Assoc. Prof. Le Cu Linh joined the panel discussion “Healthcare Workforce Training in the Digital Transformation Era: Opportunities and Challenges.”

Dr. Christina Liew Siaw Cheok delivered a presentation on “Recruitment, Training, and Management of Standardized Patients.”

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Huyen presented her study The Need for Capacity – Building Training among Nursing Faculty at Selected Universities in Northern Vietnam: A Qualitative Study 

The reports focused on key issues in modern medical education, including innovations in teaching methodologies, simulation-based training, faculty development, and the application of technology in medical training.

In addition to faculty participation, many VinUni students also presented diverse research topics in medical education. Their proactiveness and high-quality contributions further highlighted VinUniversity’s academic presence at the conference.

VinUniversity’s diverse involvement in VAME 2025 not only reaffirms the research capacity and innovative mindset of its faculty and students but also demonstrates the university’s commitment to supporting Vietnam’s medical education system. This commitment aligns with VinUniversity’s mission to cultivate a highly competent healthcare workforce with a global mindset and strong adaptability to modern technologies.
