VINUNIVERSITY AND HANOI OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY HOSPITAL SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR COLLABORATION IN TRAINING, RESEARCH, AND HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

On July 30, 2025, VinUniversity and Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (HOGH) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership in medical education, scientific research, and the development of high-quality healthcare professionals. The signing ceremony took place at the International Conference Room, 9th Floor, HOGH, with the participation of senior leaders and key representatives from both institutions.

As a leading national referral hospital specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, HOGH is renowned for its modern facilities, highly experienced medical professionals, and longstanding commitment to clinical training for healthcare students in Northern Vietnam. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in VinUniversity’s strategy to strengthen academic-clinical integration and enhance experiential learning in reproductive and maternal health.

According to the MoU, the two institutions will jointly implement the following initiatives:

• Facilitate clinical training for VinUniversity students in Medicine, Nursing, and postgraduate programs at HOGH;
• Engage hospital specialists as visiting faculty for theoretical lectures, clinical instruction, and co-organization of seminars and academic workshops;
• Collaboratively develop and conduct research projects in obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, and reproductive health;
• Supervise student-led research, promote transparent data sharing, ensure research ethics compliance, and co-publish findings in reputable national and international scientific forums.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Cu Linh, Interim Dean of the College of Health Sciences at VinUniversity, expressed his strong belief that this partnership will generate sustainable impact for both institutions, particularly in nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals with strong clinical competence, compassionate values, and an innovative mindset.

This MoU reaffirms VinUniversity’s commitment to expanding its strategic network of academic and clinical partners, offering students access to high-quality training, cutting-edge research, and real-world healthcare environments aligned with international standards and societal needs.
