VinUni – Vinmec – GE Healthcare collaborate on Standardized Medical Practice Training

Vinmec Healthcare System, VinUniversity, and GE HealthCare have signed a tripartite cooperation agreement focus on education, medical practice, and research on imaging data according to international standards in the fields of diagnostic imaging and ultrasound; deploy new clinical technologies and applications, and conduct scientific research. The collaboration between the Hospital – University – Healthcare Equipment Company is an optimal model, contributing to enhancing the quality of medical education in Vietnam.

Vinmec and VinUniversity are two leading brands of Vingroup conglomerate in Vietnam in the fields of healthcare and education. Vinmec is the largest private healthcare system in the country with 7 hospitals and 3 international standard clinics; VinUni is a non-profit private higher education institution with the goal of becoming an excellent university. GE HealthCare is a leading global healthcare technology company, manufacturing and providing solutions, services, pharmaceuticals, data analysis tools for diagnostic imaging and digital solutions.

Vinmec, VinUniversity, and GE Healthcare are expanding their strategic cooperation

Through cooperation, the three parties will collaborate to implement training courses in diagnostic imaging and ultrasound; deploy new technologies and clinical applications, and cooperate in scientific research.

Specifically, Vinmec and VinUniversity will collaborate with GE HealthCare in implementing training courses in diagnostic imaging and ultrasound. GE HealthCare will actively introduce new technology applications into research and clinical activities to enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities in key areas such as Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Sports Medicine. In particular, GE HealthCare’s most advanced solutions will be applied at Vinmec, including Imatis CT Navigation – a solution for planning and guiding optical interventions through the skin, Viewpoint applications, and ultrasound products using new artificial intelligence technology.

Additionally, the three parties will collaborate on scientific research to create data repositories, clinical evidence for new technologies, and applications on GE HealthCare’s imaging diagnostic systems used at Vinmec.
