ACHIEVEMENTS

• Part of the College of Health Sciences – VinUniversity, the Medical Simulation Center provides practical training for:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program

  • Nursing Program

  • Residency Program

  • (Upcoming) Doctor of Dental Surgery Program

• State-of-the-art facilities and simulation technologies enable students to:

  • Practice realistic pre-clinical medical scenarios in a safe environment

  • “Learn by making mistakes” — experiment, receive feedback, and improve without compromising patient safety

  • Develop strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional decision-making

• Community-oriented initiatives:

  • Training programs such as Healthcare Communication Skills, Community First Aid, and Soft Skills for Students

  • Promoting healthcare awareness and essential emergency response skills within the community

• Collaboration in the “Pre-hospital Emergency Care” project organized by the Ministry of Health and the Thien Tam Foundation,
  → Aiming to strengthen emergency response capacity and standardize pre-hospital care models across Vietnam.

  • Awarded the “SSH Provisional Accreditation” by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), USA

  • Accredited in the domain of Teaching/Education

  • Among the few simulation centers in Asia recognized by SSH for meeting international standards.

  reflecting VinUni’s commitment to training compassionate, competent, and globally ready healthcare professionals.

Since our establishment in July 2017, a large number of trainees have attended our courses:

• 240 courses with 5988 attendees in AHA, non-AHA, and other CME courses.
• 2425 attendees in communication skills in medical encounters for Vinmec hospitals across Vietnam.
• 4,757 attendees in nursing skill training for Vinmec hospitals across Vietnam.
• 317 attendees in Simbionix training courses.
• 188 attendees in RRT courses.

The American Heart Association (AHA) has recognized the VinUni Medical Simulation Center as an official AHA Training Center in Vietnam.
