Nguyen Hoang Long, RN, PhD

Associate Professor
Director, VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Hoang Long gained his Bachelor of Nursing from Hanoi Medical University. Together with colleagues, he founded the first-in-country Bachelor of Nursing program at a private institution, promoting the involvement of private sectors in higher education for nurses nation-wide. He spent several years in Thailand, where he pursued both master and doctoral degrees, and postdoctoral fellowships at Chulalongkorn University. Dr. Long joined Vingroup in 2016 as the Deputy Director of Nursing Education, Vinmec Healthcare System. At VinUni, he has has served as Chief of Curriculum Development and Director of the Nursing Program (2020–2024). He currently serves as a faculty member of the Nursing program and as Director of the Medical Simulation Center.

Kieu Thanh Hieu, BSc

Technician, VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center

Mr. Kieu Thanh Hieu has joined VMSC after eight years of working experience as an IT Technician at the Singapore International school. Mr. Hieu is passionate about technology and is devoted to improve his skills and knowledge about new technologies. He enjoys assisting others with issues regarding their devices, including installing, configuring, setting up devices, maintaining, and finding solutions to customize requirement types, allowing them to perform daily tasks more effectively.

Vu Hong Hanh, MSc

Training Officer

Ms. Vu Hong Hanh has the master’s degree of Environmental Engineering at Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea. She has excellent experience working for educational organizations. She has shown her passionate in researching, academic support, and administration. At Vin University Medical Simulation Center, she is charge of coordinating training activities, performing procedures in administration and accounting.

Vu Ha Chi, BSc

Clinical Training Officer

Ms. Vu Ha Chi graduated from Hanoi Medical University in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the same institution. With nearly two years of experience working at the Simulation Center, she is presently responsible for overseeing Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs at the Institute of Health Sciences.
During her academic years, Ms. Chi achieved remarkable success, winning First Prize in the National Scientific Research Competition, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education, and earning direct admission to Hanoi Medical University in recognition of her outstanding performance.

Nguyen Thu Phuong, BSc

Clinical Training Officer

Ms. Nguyen Thu Phuong graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Thang Long University in October 2024. During her studies, she demonstrated outstanding academic performance and a strong commitment to scientific research. In the same year, she won First Prize at the 6th Youth Science and Technology Conference, organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences at Thang Long University, in recognition of her research contributions.
She is currently pursuing a Master of Nursing (Research) at Thang Long University.

Pham Quynh Duong, BSc

Clinical Training Officer

Ms. Pham Quynh Duong graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Thang Long University in 2024. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she actively participated in clinical internships at major hospitals in Hanoi, including Bach Mai Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, and the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. These valuable experiences helped her build strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of patient care in diverse healthcare environments.
