HEALTHCARE QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Quality management of medical services is essential for all hospital units and personnel. However, not all healthcare staff received proper training during their university programs. Therefore, the staff who dedicates his/her work to quality management needs adequate training in this area.
The VinUniversity CME course “Healthcare quality management” was developed to meet the current needs of quality management staff in the healthcare system. The course provides basic knowledge and skills in quality management, including quality management systems, quality measurement, and developing and implementing a quality improvement project.

2. Course duration

40 hours (32-hour theorical period and 8-hour practical period)

– Introduction to quality management
– Guidelines for healthcare quality management
– Measuring healthcare quality management
– The role of leaders and managers in healthcare quality management
– Motivate and encourage staff in improving healthcare quality management
– Strategic planning and project improvement of hospital quality.

4. The language used in the course: Vietnamese and/or English, depending on the learners’ needs

5. The number of trainees per course: maximum 30 participants.

6. Certification: CME/CPD certificates equivalent to 40 hours

7. Fee: 4.000.000 VND/course/person
