WRITING FOR PUBLICATIONS IN LOCAL VIETNAM JOURNALS

Having the research published in journals is essential for every researcher. The quality of the manuscript somehow reflects the academic reputation of the authors. It also helps to bring the authors’ findings and knowledge to the community. This course offers the learners basic academic writing skills, the publication and peer review process, and the preparation of manuscripts to meet selected local Vietnamese journals’ requirements.

1. Who should take this course?

– Medical staffs, learners related to healthcare field.
– People who concern about how to publish Vietnamese articles.

2. Course duration

16 hours (12-hour theorical period and 4-hour practical period)

3. Course Content:

– Importance of research published in academics
– Common reasons for papers to be rejected by journals
– Structure of a manuscript
– How to write a manuscript
– Publication in Vietnamese journals: journal selection and the publication process

4. The language used in the course: Vietnamese and/or English, depending on the learners’ needs

5. The number of trainees per course: maximum 20 participants.

6. Certification: CME/CPD certificates equivalent to 16 hours

7. Fee: 1.500.000 VND/course/person
